There have been two unexpected openings in the American League for managers. The American League draft will be held March 25th, so we would like to have these positions filled as soon as possible.

American League  Saturday March 20^th 9:00am-11:00am

                                Sunday   March 21^st 12:00pm-2:00pm

National League    Saturday March 20^th 12:00pm-2:00pm

                                Sunday   March 21^st 9:00am-11:00am

All 8 and 9 year olds hoping to play in the National League must tryout. 7 year olds may tryout by invitation only (have your childs most recent coach send a recommendation to the Player Agent prior to the tryout). American League players who did not tryout in the fall must tryout. The draft will take place the following week. Tryouts will be held at MRA.

We are currently looking for team sponsors for the fast approaching 2010 season. Ripken baseball requires all coaches to complete an online coaching course. The certificate you receive upon completion of the course will be valid for your entire coaching career with Ripken/Babe Ruth baseball. The course typically takes 2-3 hrs to complete and the cost is $19.95. We realize that this is a lot to ask of coaches who are already volunteering a great deal of time to their teams and this league. There is however a good deal of valuable information in the course which should be helpful to you in running your team. We ask that you complete this by June 1st.
