ALL STARS
Major League - Blue Division
Competitive baseball for Players age 10 thru 12 by April 30, 2008.
All Players MUST tryout. Per 2007 Little League rule, ALL 12 yr olds MUST play in the Majors unless the player signs a waiver to play in the American League. Any 12 yr old who fails to try out in the Fall shall lose the right to play in the Major League, but may sign a waiver to be able to tryout and then play in the American League.
Play is very competitive, skill level is high, 65-70 mph pitches are not uncommon, (Major league equivalent of 90+mph) standings are kept, and playoffs follow the regular season.
Minimum play of 3 innings and 1 at-bat, or EH.
Annual tryouts in the Fall. Each year there shall be two tryout dates. For this year, tryouts shall be held on September 29 at 9:00am and October 6 at 1:00pm.
12 Players shall be drafted per team.
If a Players leaves any ML team after the season starts, he or she must be replaced with a Players who is 11 or 12 years old.
Regular Season Schedule shall be as follows:
Each team shall play 16 games.
Each team shall play against every team inside their division team twice, for a total of 10 games.
Each team shall play against every team outside of their division once for a total of 6 games.
Major League - Black Division

Players can steal all bases except for home plate. This makes it necessary that runs are scored on hits, walks or hit batsmen. Minimum Play of 3 innings.

All 9-year olds will play in the National League unless a waiver is submitted by parents to play down in the Triple AAA League. Players age 7 by April 30, 2008 may elect to tryout for the National League Division by invitation/coach recommendation in accordance with the play up rule or Player agents consent. Those 7s or 8s not selected will be placed on an AAA Division team.
There shall be no movement by 9 years olds to the Majors or American League.
NO EXCEPTION SHALL BE MADE AT ALL.
Play is competitive and standings are kept. Playoffs follow the regular season and all Teams make the Playoffs. A Bat through lineup will be used. Free Substitution with a minimum of 3 innings in the field.
9 Players shall take the Field each inning.
A maximum of 10 runs will be allowed per inning. The inning is over immediately after the 10th run passes the plate. The Slaughter Rule shall apply.

Triple-A AAADivision
Triple-A AAADivision
Machine pitch division for all Players age 7 & 8 by April 30, 2008. Players who are 9 by April 30, 2008 may elect to waive out of the National League and play in the Triple-A AAA Division. Players who are 6-years old may play up under the SPLL Playing Up Rule. Players can expect semi-competitive games but the emphasis of this division is preparing Players for the National, American and Major Leagues. Skills and teamwork are emphasized. This is an Eight to ten Week Program with the first two weeks just practices. Weeks 3-10 weeks being two games each week.
Outs will be assessed.
A strike out shall be five swings and/or 10 passed balls.
An inning will be one round through the batting order or three outs.
9 Players shall take the Field each inning.
Players shall be placed in real baseball fielding positions.
Double A (AA) Division
Coach Pitch division for Players age 6 with an emphasis on fun, skill development, and teamwork. No scores are kept. Players must be age 6 by April 30, 2008 and no older than 7 by April 30, 2008. This is an Eight to ten Week Program with the first two weeks just practices Weeks 3-10 weeks being alternating two games on odd weeks and one game and one practice on even weeks.
The bases shall be moved in to make the field smaller.
There shall be no outs.
All Players shall bat once each inning.
All Players shall take the Field each inning. Players shall be placed in real baseball fielding positions, with extra Players backing up those positions.
The Player will have completed his at-bat when either of the following has taken place: (1) The coach has pitched a maximum of 10 pitches to that Player, or (2) the Player has taken 5 swings.
Single A Division - Sandlot
Single-A Sandlot Division
A division for Players age 4 or 5 who are just beginning to learn baseball with an emphasis on fun, skill development, and teamwork. This is an Eight to Ten Week Program with the first two weeks just practices. Weeks 3-7 being one practice and one game. Tees will be used until week six and then coach pitch shall be introduced for weeks 7-10. A bat through lineup will be used. No scores are kept. Players must be age 5 by April 30, 2008.
