Spring tryout dates and time are as follows
American League Saturday March 20th 9:00am-11:00am
Sunday March 21st 12:00pm-2:00pm
National League Saturday March 20th 12:00pm-2:00pm
Sunday March 21st 9:00am-11:00am
All 8 and 9 year olds hoping to play in the National League must tryout. 7 year olds may tryout by invitation only (have your childs most recent coach send a recommendation to the Player Agent prior to the tryout). American League players who did not tryout in the fall must tryout. The draft will take place the following week.

Attention 2010 Summer All Star Manager Candidates
New guidelines for the selection of all star managers are being implemented. If you would like to be considered for a manager position for any of our all star teams you must complete the manager candidate questionnaire and attend the March 1st board of directors meeting. Anyone interested should contact Bob DiMartino at bobdimartino@comcast.net no later than February 24th for further information.

2010 Team Sponsors Needed
We are currently looking for team sponsors for the fast approaching 2010 season. Having a dozen kids running around town with your name on their back is a great way to advertise.

Attention All Coaches
Ripken baseball requires all coaches to complete an online coaching course. The certificate you receive upon completion of the course will be valid for your entire coaching career with Ripken/Babe Ruth baseball. The course typically takes 2-3 hrs to complete and the cost is $19.95. We realize that this is a lot to ask of coaches who are already volunteering a great deal of time to their teams and this league. There is however a good deal of valuable information in the course which should be helpful to you in running your team. We ask that you complete this by June 1st.
