BASEBALL FIELDS, EVANS FIELD: Take 79 south, to I-279 to Exit 14, I-579
Veterans Bridge, to the Liberty Tubes. Get in the left lane and
turn left when you exit the tubes. You will be on Rt. 51. Stay in the
right lane on Rt. 51 for about 3 or 4 miles and look for Rt. 88. Turn
right onto Rt. 88 and get into the left lane and look for McDonalds. At
the intersection be in the left lane; look for the ìWelcome to South
Parkî sign. Go into the park and follow the road all the way through
the park until you come to a ìTî. Turn right past the fairgrounds and
ball fields to the stop sign. Turn right onto Brownsville Road. Bear
left at the ìYî and go to the top of the hill. At the top of the hill
turn left onto Triphammer Road. Go to the third road and turn left.
Drive up as far as you can.

TODAY'S VARSITY GAME IS AT CRAFTON ATHLETIC FIELD:
The Crafton Athletic Field is located in the borough of Crafton. Easiest access is from I-79 North and South. Exit at the Crafton exit onto Rt. 60 South. Travel down the hill approximately 1 mile and continue over the Thornburg Bridge. Stay in the right lane and go through light onto Steuben Street. At the next light, make a left onto Linshaw Avenue. The field will be on your left.

Due to the unpredictable weather these days, Hampton Athletic office suggests you call 412-486-6000, then press 9, then press 2 for Hamptons sports line before you start your travel. As games are changed or cancelled, this sports line is updated throughout the day.
Today they changed route 28 to one lane each way. There are two sets of directions here...the first one follows McKnight road and is an alternate route. The second set follows Rt. 28 to Rt. 8 and because of the construction you may hit alot of traffic.
Here are directions from I279 North:

· Go North on McKnight Road
· Stay straight on McKnight Road until you approach Intersection of McKnight and Peebles (across from Northway Mall)
· Make right onto Peebles Road by going right before redlight at McKnight and Peebles
· After 3rd red light, turn right onto Sample Road
· Follow Sample to end and turn left onto Mt. Royal Blvd.
· Go approximately 1/2 mile and turn right onto Craighead Road at bend
· At the end of Craighead Road, make a right onto Rt. 8 and immediately get in left-hand lane
· Make a quick left onto McCully Road
· High school will be on your left at the top of the hill
From Rt. 28 to Route 8 North
Follow Rt. 8 north past green belt sign. After passing through the redlight of Rt. 8 and Harts Run Road (at Northwood Realty Office), get into the right-hand lane and turn right onto McCully Road (there is a sign on Rt. 8 and McCully for Hampton High School). The High School will be on the left at the top of the hill.

From Pittsburgh South:
Take I-79 North to Pittsburgh exit and follow the Parkway down Green tree hill to the Fort Pitt Tunnels towards downtown Pittsburgh. When you exit the tunnels look for the Monroeville signs and follow them to the Squirrel Hill Tunnels and exit at Wilkinsburg. When you come off Wilkinsburg exit get in left lane to the red light. (Bendick Olds will be on your left, Channel 4 on your right). Make a left at the red light and go up to Brinton Road. Follow Brinton Road to the third right hand turn. Turn right onto Columbia Avenue and follow Columbia approximately 1/2 mile. Go through second stop sign and approximately 1/4 mile on left is Evans Avenue (a sign for Woodland Hills West Junior High should precede the turn to Evans). Make a left turn onto Evans Avenue and the school sits back in the cul-de-sac.
