South Maryland Little League: 2010 Spring Divisions
An introductory 10-week league for children between the ages of 4 and 6. There is a basic introduction to skills for throwing, hitting and catching with hands. Children are introduced to the concepts of the game and there's a focus on keeping the children active and having fun.
Coach-Pitch (5-6)
An introductory 10-week league for children between the ages of 4 and 6. There is a basic introduction to skills for throwing, hitting and catching with hands. Children are introduced to the concepts of the game and there's a focus on keeping the children active and having fun.
Machine Pitch (8U)
A league for children between the ages of 7 and 8. A pitching machine will be used for the entire season. Children will continue to learn more about the game including some advanced skills and strategies.
Minors (10U)
A league for children between the ages of 9 and 10. Children will pitch for the entire season. Children will continue to learn more about the game including some advanced skills and strategies of the game.
Little League (Majors 12U)
This is true Little League sometimes called the Majors. It is a league for players between the ages of 11 and 12. Players will pitch for the entire season and will continue to learn more about the game including some advanced skills and strategies of the game.
All-Stars
To be eligible for Little League Tournament play at the end of the year players must be rostered on a Little League team for the entire season. Tournament teams are selected at the conclusion of the regular season.
