South Lyon Sea Lions: Welcome Message
Welcome to the South Lyon Sea Lions! The goal of this program is a recreational league experience where all kids enhance their swimming skills, have fun and compete as a team. The South Lyon Sea Lions is a competitive swim team that swims against teams in the Southern Michigan Swim League (SMSL) throughout the fall and winter seasons. The SMSL is comprised of the following teams:
- Brighton
- Dexter
- Saline
- Chelsea
- Milan
- Pinckney
- South Lyon
- Tecumseh
- Ypsilanti
Dual and tri-meets are on weeknights against teams within the league. At the end of the season all the teams in the SMSL compete in a championship meet. The Championships are divided into four meets by age group and take place during the weekend with the younger swimmers competing on Saturday and the older swimmers competing on Sunday.
