Southlake (Lowell) Pop Warner Football: Welcome

 Welcome to Southlake (Lowell) Pop Warner Football and Cheer.  Home of the 2010 Division 2 Pee Wee State Champs and the 2010 Division 3 Jr. Pee Wee State Runners up and now also the 2011 Division 2 Pee Wee State Runners-up and the 2011 Division 2 Jr. Pee Wee State and Mid-America Regional Champions!!!

We will be having on more sign-up for football and cheer.  This will be the absolute last day to sign up!!  It will be May 8th from 6pm to 8pm at the shed that is located at the pop warner field.  This is the field that is right next to Oak Hill Elementary School.

This year Southlake Pop Warner was awarded the Bill Wilczynski award.  Just a little background about the award! Bill Wilczynski was a great guy who loved to be around kids. Every weekend during the football season he spent his time refereeing the NIPWLS football games. Changing player behavior was his goal as he always wanted the game to be fun. It wasnt out of the ordinary to see Bill talking with the kids on the field throwing in a joke or two. Unfortunitly Bill passed away last year but he will always be remembered. Starting last year, the Refeees created an award to give to a town in NIPWLS in rememberence of Bill, who's coaches shown respect for the game each weekend during Pop Warner Football games as like Bill Wilczynski did. This is the picture of Troy accepting the award on Southlake's behalf at the state games this year. All coaches in Lowell should take great pride in all the work we do...this award just shows how great of a group of coaches we have here and I personally proud to be A Red Devil Coach here in Lowell!!!!!
