HAMBY, LAURA B.
(nee Bellew) Of Sicklerville, NJ. Age 41 years. Suddenly on Thursday, October 23, 2008. A native of Alabama, she was born on February 24, 1967. 

Devoted wife of Rob Hamby. Loving mother of 4 sons; Kent Cochran and Clay Cochran, both at home, Kurtis Hamby and Robert Hamby, and one daughter, Rachal Hamby all of Absecon, NJ. Beloved daughter of Philip and Laura Dowdle Bellew of Mobile, AL. In addition she is survived by her grandmother MaryJo Bellew-Fulton of Jackson, MS, father and mother-in-law, James Michael and Ann Thorne Hamby of Shelby, NC.

Henry J. Schiavone    
EASTHAMPTON, N.J. — Henry J. Schiavone, of Easthampton, N.J. died on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, N.J. He was 69.

Mr. Schiavone was born in Philadelphia to Henry and Violet (Young) Schiavone and was raised in Lawrence and Manchester, N.H. He attended Central High School, and joined the U.S. Army in 1956. He served for over 20 years before retiring as a First Sergeant, including three tours in Vietnam as an Airborne Ranger. He was awarded many medals for his service there, including three purple hearts and six bronze stars. After his retirement from the Army he served as a correction officer with the N.J. State Dept. of Corrections.

Mr. Schiavone loved sports and was a baseball, softball and basketball official in the Southern NJ and Fort Dix area.

Mr Schiavone is survived by his wife, Hannelore; four children, Robert Schiavone and Henry Schiavone of New York, Patricia McDermott and her husband Damien of Stewartsville, N.J., and Anthony Schiavone and his wife Margaret of Mt Laurel, N.J. He is also survived by a grandson, Robert Scott; a brother Robert Schiavone and his wife Janice of Manchester and St. Augustine, Fla.; a nephew Jonathan Schiavone of Manchester, and two nieces Lori and Abby Schiavone of St. Augustine.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Sacred Heart Church in Mount Holly.
