Great Job boys on going undefeated 5-0 at nationals in Leominster Mass. by beating Athol Mass. Avalanche 7-3
Thanks goes out to all the players for a great tournament and especially the parents for taking the time out of there busy schedules, without that this does not happen.

USA CUP Beaver Division Champions
2007
The Hurricanes went undefeated 5-0 in tournament play on there way to the championship. In there first game they beat team Chicago 4-3. In there second game they beat team Niagra (Falls Canda) 8-1. In the third game they beat there rivals from Egg Harbor NJ 3-2. After that game they were listed as the #1 seed in the tournament. That meant they had to play the #4 seed team Niagra. They beat them 6-1. Team Chicago edged the Egg Harbor NJ team in overtime 2-1. So the South Jersey Hurricanes played Team Chicago. Team Chicago jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but the hurricanes battled back on a goal by Mike Larricks. The game stayed tied until 1:01 of the third period. Shawn Wilson scored for the Hurricanes to clinch the win. Cody Walker was stellar in net. The Hurricanes only allowed 8 goals to be scored aganist them. And scored 23 goals. Great job by all players and coaches. Thanks to all the parents that made the dream a reality. Without your support and time this would not have happened. Special thanks to coach Thom P. for the mandatory practices, it paid off.
