PEEWEES FIRST ROAD TRIP TO SASKATOON!!!
The PeeWees participated in their first out-of-town tournament in Saskatoon! The girls played their first game against the Moose Jaw Ice and were victorious 7 - 2 due to strong defence and some timely hits. The second game was a heartbreaker against the Saskatoon Raiders where we lost 7 - 6. However, the girls rebounded against our third opponents, Saskatoon Lasers, and won 12 - 2. All in all, the tournament was successful and an excellent team building experience! We faced strong teams, got our bats going, had excellent pitching, played well defensively, had nice weather, celebrated 2 players' birthdays and Happy Mother's Day.
