Registration and tryouts for boys and girls 13 - 18 yrs old (12 yr olds that played school ball) will be held this Saturday May 14th at 12pm.
There will be registration for boys & girls ages 4 to 18 years old (baseball and softball) on Monday, March 14th, at 5:30pm at South Holston Ball Park. Tryouts will follow at 6pm for boys and girls (baseball and softball) for ages 7 - 12 years old. Scholarships are available.
The SHLL Board of Directors would like to welcome you to sign-ups for the 2011 season.All players, both returning and new, will have to register for the 2011 season. Registration fees for the 2011 season will be forty dollars ($40) for players ages 4-18. For one additional sibling registration fee will also be thirty five dollars ($35). If a third sibling plays, there will be no extra charge. We will have registration at South Holston Little League on Saturday February 5th and February 19th from 10am to 2pm. Additional dates will be set up if weather cancels the above dates. If you cannot make the mentioned dates please contact any of board members listed below.
Three proofs of residency are required. The following are items that can be used for proof of residency. Driver’s license, voter’s registration, school records, welfare/child care records, federal records, state records, municipal records, homeowner records, utility bills (gas, electric, water/sewer, phone, cell phone, heating), financial records, medical records, insurance documents, military records, internet, cable or satellite records, vehicle or employment records. Three utility bills constitute as only ONE document. We also require a copy of the player’s birth certificate.
If this is the first year of playing or moving up into a different age group you will have to come to tryouts ONE of the following dates. All players will make a team, tryouts are our way of making teams as even as possible. Tryouts will be at our field behind South Holston Ruritan on:
Saturday March 5th at 12:00pm for ages 7 – 12*
Saturday May 14th at 12:00pm for ages 13 – 18
Additional dates will be added due to weather related events.
*Players league age 12 that plays Middle School baseball / softball can try out for Junior League (ages 13 – 14).
