Position: 9th Grade Head Coach Profile: Tom Burks is in his sixth year of teaching at South Forsyth High School and his first on the War Eagle baseball staff. Burks has a Bachelor of Science degree in Technological Studies and a Masters degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Business. Besides being head freshman baseball coach he also is head freshman basketball coach at South. Burks’ is married to Lisa, who is also a teacher in the Forsyth County School System, and they have a ten year old son, Hunter.
