South in playoffs, round 1 at War Eagle field!
South will be facing Heritage High School, from Conyers, on Friday, May 4 for the 1st round of the playoffs. The doubleheader begins at 5PM at War Eagle field. Please come cheer on our War Eagles!

War Eagles clinch playoff spot!
Our War Eagles have clinched a spot in the playoffs after beating Central 6-1 on Monday! The last game against Woodland on Friday, 4/27/12 will determine if we finish the season in 2nd place or 3rd place. A 2nd place finish will earn us home field advantage in the playoffs!

Varsity record 6-1 after big win against Lambert
A huge crowd was in attendance for the match-up between South Forsyth and Lambert on Tuesday night. And our War Eagles came through with a big WIN against the #4 ranked team, making our record 6-1. Now it's on to Cass - GAME CHANGED TO THURSDAY AT 5:30 DUE TO WEATHER. Way to go, War Eagles!

War Eagles 2 - 0, on the road to Coweta and Cook Counties
Our Varsity War Eagles are now 2-0, after defeating North Paulding 6-2 last Monday night. This weekend, the War Eagles go on the road, facing East Coweta on Friday night, and Cook County on Saturday afternoon. Let's keep it going, guys!

Varsity wins season opener
Our Varsity War Eagles earned their first win in the season opener at Cherokee High School, beating the Warriors 2 - 0! Our first home game is Monday, February 20, at 5:55PM vs. North Paulding, and JV also starts their season on Monday at 5:55PM, at Milton High School. Come out and cheer us on!

SFHS Seniors to Play College Baseball in 2012
Congratulations to Seniors Devin Gearhart and Micah Dunn, who both received athletic scholarships to play baseball in college next fall. Devin will be attending North Georgia College & University in Dahlonega, GA, and Micah will be attending Marshall University in Huntington, WV. South Forsyth is proud of our War Eagles going on to play college athletics!
