The mission of South Florida Chapter of US Lacrosse is to ensure a unified and responsive organization that develops and promotes the sport by providing services to its members and programs to inspire participation, while perserving the integrity of the game.  We envision a future which offers people of South Florida the opportunity to discover, learn, participate in, enjoy, and ultimately embrace the shared passion of the lacrosse experience.

Girls USA Clinic

Team USA Women's Clinic

        We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting an US National Team Womens' clinic on January 9, 2010. The clinic will take place at Pope John Paul II High School with the morning session open to lower and middle school girls and the afternoon open to high school girls.  You can register at www.uslacrosse.org.  Cost is $55 with US Lacrosse membership.  Each participant will recieve a shirt and giveaways.  Learn from the best and help fundraise for the U.S. Women's National Team by attending.  This will be the 6th time we have hosted Team USA.  If you have any questions, you can contact Charity Cox at sfwlax@comcast.net or 561-704-8984.

Champions Challenge

    USL is hosting the Champions Challenge at Disney's Wide of Sports January 30 - 31.

Don't missing the opportunity to watch both the men's and women's National Teams compete against Duke, Army, and Notre Dame.  Games are played on Saturday and Sunday.  Florida's youngest players will be matching up during the half-times!!

There will also be player clinics conducted by USA teammembers.  The programs that have the most clinic attendence, will win breakfast with Team USA.

Men's Officials Needed!

Start A Rewarding Career As A Lacrosse Official

South Florida Lacrosse Officials Association is seeking experienced and non-experienced individuals to work as sub contractors to officiate boys’ youth, recreational, club, community and high school lacrosse games.

Availability is expected to be afternoons, evenings and some weekends.

Training will be provided by US Lacrosse representative at a time and place to be determined based upon class size.

Compensation depends upon level of game you assigned. Travel expense may or may not be included.

Approved SFLOA uniform is required.

Officials are in integral part of the game. This is a great way to get involved, network with officials, get some exercise, make a difference in your community and earn some money.

When: September 12th, 2009 at 8 am – 2 pm

What: US Lacrosse Level One Training Course

Where: Palm Beach Day Academy 241 Seaview Ave Palm Beach FL, 33480

How Much: $35 Made Payable to South Florida Lacrosse Officials Association

·         Covers Shipping, printing and Handling of hand outs, materials, rule book & US Lacrosse patch upon successful completion of course.
