As we are coming to the New Baseball Season for 2008, we would like to take the time to thank all of you who have participated in our first fundraiser of the 2007-2008 school year. And we would like to thank all of our future supporters as well.
As we all have many things to be grateful for we wish you the best of lucK in 2008. The year 2008 brings many new and exciting times for the Baseball Season. The “DOC CRAMER CLASSIC” has already been scheduled for May 21, 2008 @11:05am. We have the AD BOOK up and running and are requesting that each family help bring in sponsors for this year. We have a Golf Outing planned for March 28, 2008 and Jim Smith is looking for plenty of volunteers. You may contact him at byepass01@comcast.net.We also have a few fundraisers in mind that will bring together the boys as a Southern Baseball Family.
As this is a new year, with a new board, we are asking for as many volunteers as possible. Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month in the 11/12 building. We welcome anything that you and your boys can do to assist us . Please come to the meetings, voice your opinions, cheer on the teams and coaches and support your Baseball Association. This association is for all Parents, not just a select few. We truly need your help to make this a success.
This year each player will be handed a package with a meeting schedule, membership forms and requirements for the SRBPA baseball scholarships. These rules have been part of our by-laws and we would like you to be informed about them. The Parents Association is here to assist the Coaches with their needs and to help the boys of the Baseball Program. If we do not have enough volunteers, the program will not be a success. WE NEED YOU!!!!!!!
