SCBC 8th Grade Black Continues Their Winning Ways at KSC Thunder All-Out Tournament
SCBC 8th Grade Black KSC Thunder All-Out
SCBC 8th Grade Black continued their winning ways this weekend at the Kingston Sports Center Thunder All-Out Tournament.  They cruised into the championship game with decisive victories in their pool play games.  In the championship final, after being tested early, the boys registered an exciting come from behind win to cap off another undefeated weekend.  Pictured to the right (L-R):  Front row: Kevin Cox, Andrew Blessing, Tyrese O'Loughlin, Aidan Murphy.  Back row: Colin Cianciolo, Dante Prosseda, Joe Gilmartin, Coach Phil Rattenni, Ryan Maloney, Tommy Longolucco, Matt Plympton, Nick Bicknell.

SCBC 8th Grade Black Takes Home Championship at The U Hanover Tip-Off Classic

SCBC Teams Perform Well at The U Hanover Winter Classic

SCBC 5th Grade Black - Winter Classic at The U Champions

SCBC teams performed well last weekend at the Winter Classic at the U in Hanover.  Both 5th Grade Black and 7th Grade Black brought home championships and 8th Grade Black narrowly missed, losing in overtime to the 8th Grade Champion South Shore Wolfpack - the tournament hosts.

SCBC 5th Grade Black and 8th Grade Black Take Home Championships at RI Breakers Fall Fest III

SCBC 5th Grade Black - 2013 RI Breakers Fall Fest III Champions

The SCBC 5th Grade Black and 8th Grade Black teams capped off a successful weekend by taking home championships on Sunday. 

The 5th Grade team won an exciting back and forth final game against a very good RI Breakers 6th Grade team. 

The 8th Grade boys finished with a decisive victory over local rivals - Team Narragansett. 

The 7th Grade Black team had a strong showing, coming up just short in the championship game against a tough CT Hoosiers team.

SCBC performs well at Zero Gravity Under Armour Open
SCBC 7th Grade Black - Butler
SCBC 7th Grade Black - Fall 2013 ZG Under Armour Open Champions

The SCBC teams performed well at the Zero Gravity Under Armour Open at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston last weekend. 

Both the 7th Grade Black and 8th Grade Black took home championships winning all their games with an average margin of victory of 20+ points. 

The performance earned both teams top 10 rankings in the latest Zero Gravity power rankings (see link above)

The 7th Grade and 8th Grade blue teams also performed well over the weekend.

SCBC 5th Grade Black wins 2013 Mass Premier Fall Kickoff Tournament
The SCBC 5th Grade Black team ran off five consecutive victories en route to winning the Championship in the official Kickoff Tournament for the fall season at Mass Premier Courts in Foxboro, MA. SCBC 11th Grade Performs Well Against National Competition at Gym Rat Challenge

SCBC's 11th Grade team performed well, going 2-1 against National caliber competition at the 2013 Annual Gym Rat Challenge. This tournament traditionally draws the best teams from the entire East Coast together and serves as one of the premiere college showcase events for the Spring AAU season.

SCBC's Center - Grant Gillis (6'7") and Point Guard - Nick DeBlasio (6'1") each received Honorable Mention recognition for the All-Gym Rat Challenge Team.   We congratulate them for their inclusion in the very prestigious group.
