FBC Program Director, Toni Gore, saw a need to bring a national scouting event to the state of NC and pulled as many resources and favors as she could in order to make it a success.    Even without a major number of NC players, Gore bought in some of the most talented players in the country from South Carolina and Georgia.  Two of the top national players from NC were in attendance also.  Gore also made sure every evaluator was treated to the preview of the future of her organization as well as some of the younger talent in the Southeast region.

Cierra Carter            5’10    Wing            Spring Valley HS, SC

Is extremely skilled.  Carter played the point the wing and posted at different points throughout the day.  Its very rare for a player to understand mismatches on the floor.  Carter did a very good job identifying the players guarding her.  If they were smaller or not as strong as she was, she backed them down and shot over them.  IF she saw they were too slow to stay in front of her she pulled the defender out on the perimeter and broke them down using very efficient and effective moves to the basket.  She also made defenders respect the fact that she could shoot too. When she saw mismatches on her teammates, she did not wait for the coach to tell her to get the ball to them, she simply did it and quickly.  To be so young she has a very mature game that will make her one of the elite in her class.
