South Berkeley Little League: Welcome

Registration for the upcoming 2010 season will be open this Saturday, March 6th at Musselman Middle School from 8:00 - 2:00pm.

**If you still need to register and try-out, please arrive at least 1/2 hour before your scheduled time (click on events above for try-out times).  We are accepting registrations for our CHALLENGER League.  We are also accepting 4 year olds for tee ball (age is determined as of May 1st).   Cost for registration is $65 for first child and $35 per each additional child.  Three proofs of residency and birth certificate will be needed at registration (Little League rules).  Even if you register online, this information needs to be brought to one of the scheduled registrations (Let a board member know when you arrive that you have already registered online, so that you do not have to wait in line with the others that are registering).  To save time, you can fill out the following forms and bring with you to registration:  Player Registration Form and Medical Release Form.  All volunteers of the league are also required to fill out a Little League Volunteer Application.  Thank you!!

SBLL is also looking for individuals interested in applying to become a board member for the 2010 season.

SBLL will be hosting a Baseball Tournament at Appleland Park

·         When:     April 9th, 10th, & 11th

·         Ages:     8U, 10U, 11U, 12U, & 14U

·         Cost:      $200 per team 

SBLL is in the process of gathering information for a 2010 Challenger League

SBLL will be hosting a BONANZA on Saturday, March 6th at Tobin's Country Catering Banquet Hall located in Darkesville

Construction to the batting cages is well underway!!

·         This will be a nice addition to our complex.  A big thanks to Doug Allen, Brian Scott, Chet Bennett, and all others for all the hard work they have put forth. 

The Board has purchased new break-away bases for all fields this year.  Also, a new John Deere zero turn mower has been purchased from Arden Equipment. 

Work days will be every Saturday (weather permitting).  Many hands make the work load light, so come on out and support SBLL.  Thank you in advance for your help!
