SouthBay Waves Basketball: Welcome

Welcome to the SOUTHBAY WAVES GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM home site.

We are a non-profit girl's Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball club based in the South Bay area that provides an environment for serious basketball players to improve, develop, and maximize their individual skills as well as team play through highly competitive tournaments, practices, scrimmages, clinics and one-on-one instruction. Our goal is to field competitive basketball teams at every level of competition in local, state and national tournaments as well as to develop and prepare players to play high school basketball for their respective schools. The cornerstone of the SouthBay Waves program is not only the pursuit of athletic excellence on the court, but also the pursuit of personal growth and higher education off the court.   We emphasize sportsmanship, academic excellence, participation, teamwork, individual development, dedication and goal-setting with the belief that these qualities will carry our players far beyond the challenges they face on the basketball court. Our environment is supportive but challenging - success being measured by personal improvement as well as by team improvement.
