Who's On First? by Abbott & Costello
Sunday, January 31
For the fourth consecutive year, the Padres weere proud to host training clinics for youth baseball coaches at PETCO Park. These clinics were conducted by BaseballASAP, San Diego's premier youth baseball training organization specializing in private instruction, team training, seasonal camps, and coaches clinics. As the "ASAP" acronym stands for Accountable Student-Athletes Perform, BaseballASAP programs foster personal development and growth through both academic and athletic activities.
BaseballASAP's Chief Pitching Instructor Juan Eichelberger (Padres 1st Round Draft Pick of 1975) enjoys the opportunity to work closely with son and BaseballASAP Director of Operations Jared Eichelberger (a pitcher in Mariners and Mets organizations from 2005-2007) year-round throughout San Diego County.

In 2009, more than 1,000 coaches representative of over 100 Little Leagues were there. In 2010 the Coaches from the South Bay Little League went to see what it was all about. Coaches Steve, Jose, Carlos and Ed (me) went on Sunday afternoon and we had a great time! Coach Chris Brown, is the San Diego City College Coach and has been coaching baseball for over 22 years! From Little League to Pro Atheletes and everyone inbetween! The total knowledge of all the coaches there was, at least 1 century of Baseball Gold Nuggets! And we as coaches are all the better for it. AGAIN THANK YOU SAN DIEGO PADRES AND THANK YOU Baseball ASAP for the Clinic and for the insights into the proper coaching methods!
On behalf of the South Bay Little League, we thank all of the coaches and Pro and Ex Pro Atheletes that were there to teach the Little League Coaches. THANK YOU GUYS!
