South Asheville Athletic Association: Welcome

Welcome to the South Asheville Athletic Association: Home of SOUTH ASHEVILLE BASEBALL / SOFTBALL

SOUTH ASHEVILLE ATHLETICS

For 2015, South Asheville is joining with other leagues in the area to form WNCYSA, WNC Youth Sports Association.  Your child should be getting flyers from school with information regarding the newly formed association.  Baseball and softball for 2015 will be business as usual with a few minor changes:

1 - NO BOUNDARIES!!!  Everyone will register at one location with your home location being based on your school district OR who you played with last year. NO MORE WAIVERS!!  We are accepting players from ANYWHERE in Buncombe County!!

2- A longer season!!  Without the constraints of other organizations, we can play a longer regular season followed by our annual end of season Buncombe County Tournament!!

3 - More younger divisions!!  With control of our own organization, we can now split the younger age divisions to make learning the game of baseball/softball easier, more fun, and more competitive all at the same time!
