1997 South Appleton Rockers are formed.
August '97 - Girls compete in first tournament, the Pulaski 12U Fastpitch Tourney. Competing as 10 year olds, girls go 0-2
July '98 - Girls return to Pulaski as 11 year olds and take 3rd place in 12U.
August '98 - Rockers win first Tourney, winning the Shawano 12U in dramatic fashion.
May '99 - Rockers go 5-0 to win first place in Rochester Minn. ASA Classic.
May '99 - South Appleton wins third consecutive tourney going 5-0 in Green Bay.
June '99 - Win NSA State Tourney in Pulaski.
July '99 - Win LL district Tourney in Appleton.
July '99 - Win LL State Tourney in Black River Falls.
August '99 - Win LL Divisional Tourney in Jefferson Iowa.
August '99 - Win LL Central Region Tourney in Joplin Mo. by defeating West Portsmouth Ohio twice on final day.
August '99 - Placed 3rd in LL World Series in Portland Oregon with victories over Europe, Canada(twice) and Latin America.
2000 Summer Season
The Rockers first ever tournament in the 14U division was a huge success. Playing in Rochester ASA Open in May, the Rockers brought home the 1st place medal.
In June the Rockers places 3rd in their own tournament won by Athlete's Foot of Oshkosh.
The Rockers struggled in late June during the Badger State Games in Madison, however, they rebounded nicely to win the ASA State title in Beaver Dam and qualifying for Nationals in Marietta Ga.
2001 should be an exciting year for Rocker fans in 14U division.
2001 Season
The 2001 season was a fun one for the 14U team, and the newly formed 12U team. The 12U team took 2nd place in the ASA State Tournament in Sheboygan after playing 7 games in one day. The team qualifies for the ASA World Series in LaFayette La.
The 14U Team won the ASA State Title in Sheboyagn and also qualified for the NSA World Series in Charlotte. The 14U team had a great time in Charlotte where thay competed in the 114 team World Series.
2002 Season
The 2002 season brought great changes, the South Appleton Rockers Softball Association was formally incorcporated. SARSA Inc. fielded 4 teams in 2002. All 4 teams had outstanding sesaons and are looking forward to 2003.
