Softball Practice is on most Sundays during each semester either at the common or in the old Sports Hall at 12:30pm. Games and tournaments are played throughout the year.

Whether you've played before or just want to try a new sport softball is a great game. Its has some similarities to rounders and baseball. The ball is bigger than a baseball and is pitched under arm so you have a better chance of hitting it. It's a mixed sex, team sport and the emphasis is very much on playing to have fun. It's also a great way to meet new people if you're new to the university. Come along and give it a go! (If the weather's bad we'll just have to go to the pub for a drink instead :)

Future practices over the winter will be indoors with friendly games organised against local teams.
