Tri-Meet Parents' Info Meeting TODAY (2 December)!!!
We will run the tri-meet differently this year and we will have a brief meeting this afternoon to discuss the logistics of the meet. The meet is Dec 11-12 and we are the hosts. To give a brief summary, Williamsport is coming into town on Friday afternoon for practice, and WE WILL BE HOSTING THEIR ATHLETES. This means that each athlete on our team will take home one or two athletes from Williamsport Friday, Dec 11. This was the custom in years past (we have not done it in at least 5-6 years) and is a great experience for all those involved. It is a great way for us to meet new people, and create friendships across the swimming community. It will also be great because we see Williamsport three times throughout the year (this meet, the Bucknell Meet, and States). We will host a mutual team dinner in the cafeteria on Friday after practice (pizza), and we ask that each host family supply a healthy breakfast to the athletes in the morning prior to returning to the pool. Please respond to this email to me (toddbauer1@yahoo.com) and let me know how many athletes you are willing to host. Some folks might have room for only one while others could host 3 or 4. If some families are unwilling to participate, we will hopefully have others to pick up the extra athletes. Wednesday, November 25
Spectator Shirts
Shirts for our spectators are here. Note that these are generic Souderton shirts, so spread the word to athletes on other teams, teachers, staff, alumni?, etc. In addition to just Souderton, there are options for “Souderton Mom”, “Souderton Dad”, “Souderton Grandmom”, and “Souderton Granddad” for those special spectators in your life. Women’s sizes are XS to XL and Men’s sizes are M to XXL. These are 60/40 poly/cotton blend and are $28 a piece. I will have samples for inspection at the Alumni Polo Game this Saturday at the High School pool. Get your orders in before 12/4 and they will [most probably] be here form Christmas! Team Apparel
Besides shirts for your favorite fan/parent, etc., there is also team wear to be had. This is not a fundraiser and is being sold at cost. Forms were sent home over the weekend with your athlete. Thanx to Missy and Lee for the design. Didn't get a form? Go to the Handout link to the left and click on Team Warm-ups or Team Sweats/Polos for order forms. We would like to place the order by the 4th.

All American Certificates
Ever wander around at other pools and marvel at the number of All Americans that have come from that particular pool? Ever looked at the walls at our pool and wondered why we haven't had any for [more than] a few years? Its not that we haven't had them, it's just that the coaching staff or the booster board never got their hands on them. Now is your chance to correct that oversight!!! In anticipation of our new pool at the new High School, round up any certificates that you might have (just laying around), and get them to either Matt Zrada (Poppa Z) or Jeff Corcoran. We (Matt, actually) will get color copies made and return you the original(s). The copies will get framed and they will eventually show up on the wall (either at this pool or the next)....
