Semi-Pro, Then and Now
During the 1960's and up to the early 70' The Santa Cruz Seahawks were part of the Santa Cruz Community. Playing there Games at Harvey West Park. As in all programs, came a loss of interest or the personal to play, The Seahawks ended in the year of 72.

29 years later. the Santa Cruz Spirit have come to find a home in the Santa Cruz Community. This being there first year the Spirit have already started making a little history. The First Touch Down scored by Rich Borjon, a 2 yard plunge against the Hollister Barnstormers. Rich will also be recorded as the first ball Carrier to carry the ball for 100 yards. Jamil Vaughn and Recardo Delapaz will record the longest pass from scrimmage, A 45 yard reception for a touch down against Hollister.

Dave Adams'hoka will record the longest run return, 90 yards against the South Bay Buc's. Maurice Lee, will record the first interception, and Shea Ackerly will record the First Fumble Recovery. of corse there is some Negative History, but ill just keep that in the record books.
