PREPARING FOR NEXT YEAR!
Well the 2009 season is behind us and boy was it fun. We hope everyone enjoyed all of the games, food, and parties.
Those of us that participate on the Board of Directors are already making plans for the 2010 season. Make sure and check the calendar for any work days we can squeeze in this fall and also check the News page for any fundraisers that may be going on.
We hope you are looking forward to the 2010 season as much as us. Let's try to make this upcoming year the best one that our area has seen.
Enjoy the fall season while it lasts because spring is not that far away!

A board meeting was held this evening at Sophia Little League. New officers were elected for the 2010 season and various issues such as concession stand duties, batting cage maintenance, and painting were discussed. There will be a work day scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 30th for all who can make it. The batting cage work will begin that day as well as painting of the main field house. The batting cage will receive a concrete floor to eliminate the muddy mess that occurs after those spring showers. The field house was vandalized with paint after the season ended and touch work will be done to fix it.
Anyone who can lend a hand is welcomed.
