Somerset Hills Little League: Our Mission
Somerset Hills Little League
The Somerset Hills are comprised of
the communities of Bernardsville, Peapack and Gladstone. Over 500 children
participate in the SHLL program representing more than 350 Somerset Hills
families.
The SHLL offers Baseball and
Softball programs structured to various levels of play for children
ages 4 through 14.
Courage, Character and Loyalty are the
cornerstones of Little League baseball. Our program adheres to these standards
and believes participation in team sport in general and Little League in
particular provides children the opportunity to develop these valuable
competencies.
Mission Statement
The objective of the SHLL shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority so that they may develop into well adjusted, stronger, and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.
