Somerset Hills Little League: Volunteers Needed
The SHLL is a self-sustaining volunteer organization. Your help is sought and needed.
Coaches and other volunteers are ALWAYS needed! Prospective Coaches must complete the Rutgers Safety Certification Course. Learn more about the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Certification and upcoming Certification clinincs in our area.
All volunteers must complete the Little League Volunteer Application. Volunteers will be subject to a Little League-mandated background check.
It takes a 12 month effort to pull off a 12 week Little League season. We can't do it alone.
Not only do we need coaches but
we also need:
Team Parents
Snack Shack Volunteers
Field Maintenance Volunteers
Game Day Field Preparations & Maintenance (Prep fields prior to
games, between and after games)
Spring- Field Opening
Fall- Field Winterization
Sponsorship Drives
Fundraising Coordinators
If you have a specific area of expertise that can benefit the
program, please let us know. We are always looking for new ways to make our program
better.
We're not promising that Steve Schwed will let you drive the
tractor but hey--- you never know.
