Softball Austin Texas Shootout: FAQ's

1. When will Round Robin Schedule be posted/available?          

We hope to have the Round Robin Schedule posted by April 21, 2012. 

2.  How early do the games start?          

Games will start as early as 8am on Saturday and 8am Sunday 

3.  What times are the Game Finals?         

Game Finals will be at approximately 5pm on Sunday.  Some Divisions may have their Finals earlier depending on number of teams registered. 

4.  Will my team be eliminated on Saturday?

The tournament committee will do all its best to have no elimination games on the first day (Sat May 5th).  Though this is our wish and we will strive to not have any teams eliminated on the first day, other constraints, i.e. number of teams in a division and field scheduling, may dictate otherwise.  Given this there will be a slight chance that some teams will have to be eliminated on the first day. 

5.  What else is there to do on Sunday if my Team gets eliminated early?

The tournament is held during Austin's First Splash Weekend so many choose to celebrate First Splash after the games.

7.  What if I am looking for a team to play on or a team looking for players?         

Please look under the Teams/Players Looking tab of the Texas Shootout website. 

8.  How do I submit a "Team Looking for Players" or "Player Looking for Team" entry?

Email tournament director at director.texasshootout@gmail.com.  Updates will be made usually within 24/hours of request.
