Gang Green Wins Division 7
Congratulations to the Gang Green Coed team, one of the founding members of the Northern Virginia Coed Soccer League, for winning Division 7 Summer Session 2005 in breakaway fashion. A shutdown defense spearheaded by sweeper Vic Batson and stellar goalkeeping by Matt Arnett kept them undefeated over the season. In those cases where the opposition did score the offense stepped up to match or better for a final record of 4 wins (1 by forfiet) and 3 ties. They held all opponents to 3 goals or less despite a on the field roster that was turbulent at best. The artful juggling of available players was accomplished by the dynamic team management duo, Brent and Heidi Harrison, also original members of the team from its inception. Heidi is also taking on team registrar duties for the upcoming season as this team continues its storied history.

Weekly Saturday Pickup Game
We continue to have our weekly pickup game weather permitting behind Twain Middle School, 4700 Franconia Road, Alexandria, VA 22310 at 10:00 AM on Saturdays. Everyone is welcome to participate.
