2009 State Cup

Blast Complex San Bernardino - For those of you who missed it (and there were many), the Juventus FC Lightning B91 Team exhibited what ended up being an outstanding display of sprotsmanship, tenacity and never-say-die-attitude. All games were 90 minute and each game was played to the final whistle by the players present - all in 80 plus degree weather.

The first game against SD United was played with 12 players, the next game agaisnt Fullerton Rangers  was played with 8 players  and the final game against West Coast Academy was played with 8. The team sustained a few injuries after the first game and had to play short for the final two games. Nontheless, each player never stopped pressuring, never stopped striving to finish and score and never, ever stopped playing - they truely left it all on the field.  So, I would like to acknowledge the following players who conquered State Cup 2009:
