Heard on the court

I am the assignor for a 70-team winter indoor rec league (which plays in the school gyms) and I sometimes stop by to see how the new referees are doing.
In one particularly competitive game between 8th grade teams, here is what I heard:
Coach yells: “Ref, that was a GOAL! The ball went ALL THE WAY IN!”
Ref responds: “Coach! I’m going to say what everyone else is thinking: SHUT THE F@(K UP!”
For the next ten seconds, you could have heard a pin drop. Then the game proceeded.
While this may have worked this time, it is not a recommended method of game control.
