Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard!
♦ So Cal Diamonds girls fastpitch teams have competed at the 12U through 18U levels in local, state, regional and national arenas. The So Cal Diamonds-ELITE organization currently consists of two teams, a 14U, and a 16U, girls fastpitch travel softball team. We are based in the Westlake Village-Agoura area of Southern California. It is the goal of the So Cal Diamonds-ELITE to develop a competitive fastpitch travel team that plays hard, executes fundamentals and provides exposure to college coaches from around the nation. In addition to developing a successful fastpitch travel team, it is also the goal of the staff to develop competitive, successful, well-rounded players both on the field and in school. The head coach, Steve Polk, does not have a daughter on the team and all positions are earned based on attitude, effort and performance. Coach Polk has been a travel softball coach for more than a decade and has led teams to compete at the national level including winning two national titles.
