The team has its roots from the Northridge 14U All Star Team that finished fifth at the ASA National Championship B West Tournaments in Springfield in 2003 and Moreno Valley in 2004. Since that time, this team has progressed to now, where it now competes as an 18-Gold team. The new coaching staff is indebted to the guys that started it all; Dennis Grant, Joe Allegretti, Kevin Beaulieu & Steve Manser (who recently passed away and is sorely missed). Going forward, Joe has formed a 16U Aftershock team that is competing at the Rec level for 2008. College Commitments 2007/2008 Nina Manser & Caiti Block, Iowa Lakes: Congratulations to Nina and Caiti for leading their team to the Junior College World Series! Nina hit a grand slam in the first inning in the Regional Championship game against Muscatine, IA CC, the then-number 2 JC team in the country. Way to go ladies! They went on to finish fifth at the JC World Series in Illinois. Allyson Salas, Mission College: Congratulations to Allyson, as she helped to lead Mission College to a huge turnaround from their 2007 season, as they went from "worst to first" and qualified for playoffs.
