Ozimok signs.


The 2003-2004 Ontario Cup Provincial Bronze Medalist SOUTHERN ONTARIO RENEGADES, are pleased to announce their first signee of the 2004-2005 season to a full 4 year scholarship.

Senior center/power forward Brianne Ozimok of Midhurst, Ontario, has made a commitment to continue her education and basketball career in the America East Conference at Boston University. She signed a National Letter of Intent in April to become a member of the Terriers.

Brianne, upon joining the RENEGADES in May 2003, has led S.O.B.C. in scoring and rebounding the past 2 club seasons. The 6'1 1/2" post player made a lasting impression this past February on Terrier Assistant Coach, Mike LeFlar during his recruiting visit to Toronto.

The SOUTHERN ONTARIO RENEGADES have their second commitment of the 2004-2005 season. First year Renegade guard, Tara Minicuci from Richmond Hill, Ontario, has verballed her intent to attend YORK UNIVERSITY in Toronto, Ontario.

Brantford native Brittany Fergus has decided to continue her education and basketball career in Ontario. The 5'8" swing guard, a member of S.O.B.C. in 2004-2005, has chosen to attend BROCK UNIVERSITY in St.Catharines, Ontario.

SOUTHERN ONTARIO RENEGADE point guard Sam Nuttall has decided to stay in Canada after mulling over options south of the border. The 5'6" guard has committed to attend ACADIA UNIVERSITY in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
