Sierra Nevada Volleyball Club: Welcome
Sierra Nevada Volleyball Club is dedicated to the promotion and development of girls volleyball in Northern Nevada. We believe in using volleyball as a vehicle to promote discipline, dedication, commitment and teamwork through programs ranging from beginning to very advanced levels of play. We are committed to assisting each athlete attain her personal goals, whether it is playing at the collegiate level or simply becoming a better volleyball player. Our primary goal is to build character and self-esteem through hard work and commitment while athletes learn the fundamental skills of volleyball, acquire knowledge of the game and given the opportunity, to compete at their highest potential.

2009 Fall Youth Volleyball League
The Sierra Nevada Volleyball ClubThe Sierra Nevada Volleyball Club and the Northern Nevada Juniors Volleyball Club is pleased to announce its fall youth league for girls 5th-8th grade. The intentions of the programs are to give girls between the ages of 10-13 an opportunity to learn the game of volleyball through a qualified instructor from the Sierra Nevada and Northern Nevada Juniors coaching staff. The program will be structured to include instruction as well as matches for the players. The main objective of the program is to balance both the fundamental skills as well as match play.
South Reno (Sept 21 to Nov 4 at Bishop Manogue)
When: The league is 7 weeks long, beginning Sept. 21 through November 4th on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
5th and 6th Grade Division—5:30 to 6:30 pm
7th and 8th Grade Division—6:30 to 7:30 pm
Where: Bishop Manogue High School, 110 Bishop Manogue Dr. Reno, NV 89511
Cost: $115/player if received by Sept. 14, $140 if received after Sept. 14. Space is limited to 32 per division.
West Reno (Sept 21 to Nov 4 at Caughlin Club)
When: The league is 7 weeks long, beginning Sept. 21 through November 4th on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
5th and 6th Grade Division—5:30 to 6:30 pm
7th and 8th Grade Division—6:30 to 7:30 pm
Where: Caughlin Club, 4100 Caughlin Pkwy., Reno, NV 89519

Northwest Reno (Sept 29 to Nov 13 at Billinghurst MS)
When: The league is 7 weeks long, beginning Sept. 29 through Nov 13.
5th and 6th Grade Division—5:45 to 6:45 pm
7th and 8th Grade Division—6:45 to 7:45 pm
Where: Billinghurst MS, 6685 Chesterfield Ln., Reno, NV 89523
Cost: $115/player if received by Sept. 14, $140 if received after Sept. 14. Space is limited to 32 per division.

Ball Control Camp and Attack Camp Canceled - Club Director Ray Batalon Accepts Postion at the University of the Pacific
Club Director, Ray Batalon, has recently accepted the position of Associate Head Coach at the University of the Pacific, which means that there a few changes:
- The Ball Control Camp and Attack Camp have been canceled and we will be issuing refunds to all the registrants.
- We will still continue providing Youth League opportunities this fall. Jason Sterrett will serve as the interim Club Director.

2009 Summer Camp Dates
The Sierra Nevada Volleyball Club will be hosting a series of camps this summer. The following is a list of the camps we will be hosting. All camps will take place at Bishop Manogue High School from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Registration information is now available. Please click on the handout below for registration materials. Both the registration form and player medical history form is required (exception of the player medical history form for players that participated in any of our programs after January 1, 2009).
- July 6-8, All Skills Camp for girls and boys entering 4th - 6th grade in the Fall of 2009. Cost is $100.
- July 29-31, All Skills Camp for girls entering 7th - 9th grade in the Fall of 2009. Cost is $115.
- August 2-4, Ball Control (Passing & Digging) Camp for advance level players entering 10 grade or higher. Special exception will be made for players that have played on a competitive travel team. Cost is $115.
- August 5-7, Attack Camp for Setters & Hitters. For advance level players entering 10 grade or higher. Special exception will be made for players that have played on a competitive travel team. Cost is $115.
