Sierra Nevada Volleyball Club: Welcome
VISION STATEMENTSierra Nevada Volleyball Club is dedicated to the promotion and development of girls volleyball in Northern Nevada. We believe in using volleyball as a vehicle to promote discipline, dedication, commitment and teamwork through programs ranging from beginning to very advanced levels of play. We are committed to assisting each athlete attain her personal goals, whether it is playing at the collegiate level or simply becoming a better volleyball player. Our primary goal is to build character and self-esteem through hard work and commitment while athletes learn the fundamental skills of volleyball, acquire knowledge of the game and given the opportunity, to compete at their highest potential.
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
The Sierra Nevada Volleyball Club provides private instruction for both individuals and groups. Private instruction is for junior girls ages 9-18. Cost: Range from $40-$65 per hour based on instructor and needs for an individual. Small groups of 2 or 3 individuals are also considered. Volleyball Intro for Girls and Boys in 1st-4th Grade Summer Camp - Canceled

Date: June 23rd-26th
Cost: $100 prior to June 10, $125 thereafter
Time: Session I - 8:30-10 am, Session II - 10:30-12 pm
Location: Bishop Manogue High School
This camp is intended to indroduce girls and boys in the 1st through 4th grades the game of volleyball. The camp will cover basic skills and game concepts. Click on the handout below for registration information.

July 8-11 - All Skills Camp for 5-8 grade girls
July 14-17 - Middle School/High School Prep Camp 8-10 grade girls (8th grade, Frosh, JV)
July 30 - 31 - Setter/Attacker Camp for 9-12 grade girls
Aug 1-2 - High Intensity Camp (ball control) for 9-12 grade girls (Advance level JV, Varsity)
Each camp will take place at Bishop Manogue H.S., from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Bishop Manogue is located at 110 Bishop Manogue Dr. in Reno. If you have any questions, please email us at raynaldb@unr.edu.

Mighty Mites for 1-4 Grade Girls
The Mighty Mites Program is designed for 1st through 4th grade girls who want to get started in learning the sport of volleyball. The focus of the program is to introduce the players to the basic skills of volleyball and introduce to them the concept of team play. The emphasis of the skills portion will cover serving, passing, hitting, and setting. The skills will be taught with step by step progressions. Team play will introduce players in the concept of rotating positions and the pass, set, hit concept. Instructors include members of the Sierra Nevada coaching staff as well as members of our travel team program. Who - 1st - 4th Grade Girls. Space will be limited to 36 players for each session.
Where - The Virginia St. Gym at the University of Nevada
When - April 21 to June 2. Players can choose either Monday evenings from 5:30-6:30 pm or Thursday evenings from 5-6 pm. Please note that there will be no session on Monday, May 26th due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
Cost - $75 prior to April 14, $90 thereafter.
