Welcome Parents, Members and all. We are in the process of setting up this site to help facilitate our communications. Our goal this season is to get the site established and begin using it in parallel with our other communication methods.
To protect our privacy, I have restricted access to the roster(and a few other areas) to members only. Therefore we all must have accounts to gain access. After reviewing the way eTeamz works, I recommend the following:
For the Parents/Relatives
To facilitate this access, I recommend parents create an account at eteamz and then request access to the site. This is done by first clicking on a restricted areas (i.e roster) and then following the directions. If you already have an eteamz account just request access to this site.
For the Team Members/Coaches
As the current administrator I will work on setting up the team roster. This step will create initial accounts for all team members. eTeamz requires unique email addresses in order to actually create a login. So team members/coaches wanting to setup their own login/profile will need to get their usernames/passwords from me before creating their own profile. Most younger team members, or members without their own email addresses should just use their parents logins when accessing the site.
Going Forward...
Because the roster capabilities are something we didn't plan on having, I'm still in the processes of playing around and getting a feel for how it works. I have intentionally put in only a few names to get some test data. So do not be suprised if you do not see your childs name at this time or if the data associated with them is incorrect.

Silent Auction / Yard Sale
We will hold our anual Silent Auction and Yard Sale on March 8, 2008 in the Big Top at Snowshoe. We need all the donations we can get. The Silent Auction we are looking for NEW items example: Gift Cards, Special Wines, Webkinz, Skis, Getaways, Lift Tickets, Tools, Ski Bags, Goggles, etc. On the yard sale side we are looking for anything ski related used items example: skis, boots, long underwear, ski pants, coats, goggles, helmets, poles, etc.
Contact your local ski shops or even the large chain stores example: Best Buys, Target, Home Depot. They may be willing to donate. Other ideas are sports team items: signed balls, jerseys, tickets.
We are also going to try to make up baskets to auction off too, example: coffee basket with different coffees, mugs, gift cards anything related to coffee. So if you have a basket idea let us know. We need to start gathering the items so we can get an Idea of what we have and what we still need to get. So we can get our posters made and distributed.
