The SCE 15U team finished the 2009 seasons league play in 4th place out of 21 teams and qualified for the Mickey Mantle State tournament played on July 5th at Hartman Park in Redmond, WA.

The Express finished 2nd in the Mickey Mantle Olympic Division State Tournament. The team played fantastic finishing 4 - 2 at State.  The train started rolling by knocking off the Sting, Puget Sound Shockers (two games) and DOW.   The Kent Bulldogs played well and beat the Express in the championship game.  Congratulations to Jake Thomas, Ross Lyons, John Naff and Brandon Dormaier as they were named to the State All Tournament team.  Great job Express!

The Express was crowned the North WA  Babe Ruth, 15U State champions on July 19th in Ellensburg, WA.  The Express went undefeated in tournament play beating Olympic, Ellensburg, Central Kitsap, Sequim and the Bothell Pride.  The Express advanced to the Babe Ruth 15U Regional tournament in Centralia, WA. on August 2 - 8. and placed 3rd.    GREAT JOB EXPRESS!
