2010 REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Through several suggestions that the league has received, to speed up the registration process, the league is now offering Express Online Registration Forms. Just fill out the online forms and all your necessary pre-printed forms will be available to you at the designated express line at registration time. You may enter Express Registration by clicking here or else please follow the step by step instructions below to register your child(ren) to play softball or baseball with our league.
Step 1
Check our boundary map to see if your address is within the SNLL boundaries by clicking here. The league cannot signup players who live outside of the league boundaries, except under the following circumstances:
- If you are signing up for Softball and live in either Capital Little League, Midway Little League, or Newark National Little League areas (for boundaries, click map link above), you child is still eligible to play in our league. None of these leagues offer Little League softball programs, so through agreements with these leagues, we offer softball for these children.
- If your child is a returning player and you have moved outside the league boundaries since last season, you child is still eligible to play in our league. You will be required to complete an additional form located under Step 3 below (see disclosure in red).
- If your child is a returning player, you no longer live within the league boundaries, however, when you originally registered your child with the league (first season you registered), you were living within the league boundaries and your child has continued the play with our league from season to season (no breaks), you child is still eligible to play in our league. You will not be required to complete an additional form located under Step 3 below (see disclosure in red). Your appropriate paperwork should already be on file with the league.
If you have any questions, please stop here and inquire at snll_bb@hotmail.com. Otherwise, please continue to Step 2.
Step 2
Check your child's league age by clicking on one of the links below. Children who are 5 years of age on or after April 30, 2010 are eligible to play in our league. For older players, players cannot be older than 16 years of age on or before April 30, 2010. The league cannot register children who do not fall within this criteria. NOTE: For Tee Ball players (5-6 year olds), use the Baseball Age Chart.
Player Evaluations (tryouts) will be required for all new baseball and softball players (except Tee Ball) and returning baseball or softball players moving divisions depending on the number of teams. All returning players league age 10-12 will be required to attend player valuations (tryouts) for the Major division. All league age 12 year olds, regardless of individual player evaluations, shall be required to play in the Major Division under Little League regulations (Baseball or Softball), unless a written waiver is approved by the Little League Charter Committee. You will be informed of the time and place of the Player Evaluations (tryouts) at time of registration.

- 3 Proofs of Residence (click here for valid documents) NOTE: More than one utility bill only counts as one proof of residence.
All of these documents will be returned to you at registration. Remember, if we don't see the proper information, we cannot signup your child(ren).
Helpful Registration Tips:
Below is some general information and tips to make your registration go a little smoothly:
- Please make sure you have the downloaded and filled out all the required documentation from above and have it ready to go when arriving at registration. If you do not bring the required documentation from the third registration step, we can not register your child. You also could lose your First Day Discount! The forms from the first registration step will be available at registration, but the proofs of residence are your responsiblility.
- Most parents, if you drove yourself to registration, should already have at least two proofs of residence, Driver's Licence and Vehicle Registration Card (Vehicle Record). Some of you may even have third, if your Vehicle Insurance Card has your address on it.
- For Proof of Residence, it is one document from each of a choice of categories. For example, if you bring in three utility bills, we can only use one and you will be scrambling to get the other two. Pick three categories ahead of time and get one document for each category.
- The key to the proof of residence documentation is that it "has your present address on it". By Little League guidelines, we cannot accept documents with different addresses. Check your documents before coming to registration and please look carefully at the residency guidelines/valid documents from the link above.
