Cougars Take Third Place Honors

The Cougars bounced back from yesterday's loss to the eventual champion Washburn Rural, defeating the Dodge City Red Demons 2-0 to take home the third place hardware. 

Banquet Reminder

The end of season banquet will be Monday, 11/9 at 6 in the cafeteria.

Game after game, in all kinds of weather, home and away, Cougar students continue to support their team.  Thanks students! 

Cougars Sunflower Games Champions -

SMNW put together a team and entered the Sunflower Games tournament in Topeka the weekend of July 25/26.  This was the school's first entry in the 12 team tournament which featured teams from across the state.  The uncoached team came home champions. The team consisted of Jon Kankam, John McNair, Bobby Hoelting, Eric Haun, Nolan Parker, Lippi Sousa, Brendon Fisch, Sam McCrillis, Jon Sestak, Adam Zoellner, Arjun Kumar, Dylan Thompson, David Fancher, Eric Zoellner, Connor Holman, Colby Weishaar, Logan Knisley, and Bill Kolega.  The Cougars defeated DeSoto 2-0, Dodge City 2-0, SMW 4-1, Hays 2-1 and Garden City in the finals 2-1.  Garden City had knocked Aquinas out of competition in pool play 2-1 earlier on Sunday.  Congratulations Cougars!
