I am a single mother and always heard the quote "sports keeps them out of courts" so I signed my son up for tee ball with SM Little League and am happy to say that WE both enjoyed the past 3 years and will continue to take part in this league. Just want to say thanks to ALL the coaches who volunteered their time, the umpires (whether it be a parent or not), and the parents. Until next year!

6/15/05 As a result of the all star postings I see alot of influential decisions on how the kids were picked, such as board member/slash coaches children were picked. I know in the past having the kids vote was a headache however I feel they were also more impartial on how they decided on who should be on their teams representing South Milwaukee. This years decisions seem to be based solely on parents decisions and if this is a league truly for the kids I think this needs to be reevaluted and another solution in the voting process. Another area that is also unfair and should be addressed is the child that does get selected stays within their division and should not be drafted up. If they are old enough to play in the division they are on during the regular season I don't see the difference in the rules for the tournament play, especially if a child is on AA in the regular season and for tournament play is moved up to a division they have not played on. This also takes away from children who did play in that division a chance to play.

Special thanks to all the Moms, Dads, Grandma's, Grandpa's, family and friends who have braved the cold temperatures in early May to watch the boys and girls play ball down at Little League park. Your muffled claps from gloves worn, your disguised presence as you are wrapped in blankets and your musky voice echoed through scarfs. All of this to cheer your Little Leaguer on! Your attendance is appreciated! Your support is applauded! Now head over to the concession stand and grab yourself a hot chocolate and a hot dog! Stay warm!!

Hi Everyone, We wanted to pass along a website we found that has the lowest prices we’ve seen on baseball and softball gear. Better prices than sporting goods stores or other internet sites. Name brands like DeMarini, Easton, Mizuno, Anderson etc. It’s: www.BatsBatsBats.com and if you enter the promotional code: Kzoo9132385 at the end of your checkout, you get free shipping on your entire order too and they have a low price guarantee ( pretty sure it’s match or beat any price ). Can’t beat it. Play Ball!

This was my first year coaching and I have to say that it went well. As for all the complaints on Roland, people realize something, he may be president, but he cannot do everything himself. This is a team effort. Give him time, and things will work out. Keep up the good work Roland. I have faith in you. Great job this year players! See you in 2005!!!

The 2004 Little League season has gotten off to a GREAT start! While a steak dinner and a movie might sound a little bit better to some, I must admit that an evening down at Little League park has proven to be alot of fun for my family! Plenty to eat and drink, plenty of sports entertainment, plenty of family and friends! See ya' at the park!
