Columbus Day Tournament - October 10th & 11th 2009
FIRST PLACE FOR THE SCORPIONS The Smithtown Scorpions U10 Boys travel team won the Northport Cow Harbor Columbus Day tournament this past weekend.  The Scorpions won all four games with 17 goals for and 3 against.  The first match was a big test for the Scorpions.  They faced a team that beat them in the Long Island Shoot Out Tournament in August.  But this time, the Scorpions played hard and showed how much they improved.  They are the first U10 team this season to come in first place in a tournament.  Congratulations Scorpions, you make the Smithtown Kickers proud.

SECOND PLACE FOR THE JAGUARS  Another U10 Boys travel team improves in competition.  The Jaguars finish second in the Northport Cow Harbor Columbus Day Tournament in the silver bracket, while taking on some higher ranked divisional teams.  The Jaguars complete the tournament with 2 wins, 1 lose, 1 draw, and scored 13 goals.  Congratulations Jaguars, keep up the good work.

SMITHTOWN ATTACK WIN WAGS!!!

Attack Add Another Tournament To Their Expanding Resume...The Smithtown Attack, Girls U-15 Premier team, has won the famous WAGS Tournament this past Columbus Day weekend. The Attack took part of the "A" Flight, where in their group they faced Lower Dauphin SA United (PAE), Toms River SA Blast (NJ), and the Freehold Shooting Stars (NJ). On day 1, the Attack beat Lower Dauphin 3-1 and lost 2-1 to a tough Toms River team. On day 2, the Attack needing a win to advance to the semi-finals, beat Freehold 2-0 to advance as the wildcard team, the best second place team in their flight. In the semi-finals, the Attack beat Pittsgrove Pride (NJ) to advance to day 3's final vs fellow Long Island Premier team, the Massapequa Force. In Monday's final, the Attack were all over the Force scoring early and often. The Attack won 4-1 in the final to win one of the most prestigious girls tournaments in the country.
