We are a 6A Area 3 High School located in East Alabama in Smiths Station, Alabama. We are the Smiths Station Panthers. We are a growing community where we take our sports programs seriously and we keep our academics high. Feel free to browse around our web page. This is a great place to be. This is the fourth year of this sites existance. Stringer, who played in the secondary at Tuskegee University for three of his four seasons, signed with the franchise as a free agent after going undrafted. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder is working out at free safety. He was recruited to play quarterback by Tuskegee, but moved to defensive back after one season and contributed 108 tackles in his career. Stringer, who earned second-team all-conference honors as a senior, helped the Golden Tigers win 43 of 48 games and capture two Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference titles. Tuskegee went 12-0 last season and won the Sheridan black college football national championship.

Wednesday, March 19 Sid Cooper Classic SID COOPER CLASSIC In honor of Sid’s Alabama ASA Hall of Fame Induction Hosted by Phenix City Church Sports WHEN: SATURDAY June 14th WHERE: SOUTHSIDE PARK TIME: 9:00AM – END FEE: $135 per team All Proceeds go to the Sid Cooper Fund to assist in his fight against Lou Gehrig’s disease. Central Baptist Church’s youth group will provide concessions to raise money for our mission’s trip to Mobile in July. Half of the proceeds will go to the Sid Cooper Fund. Rules:We will follow the league ASA rules for this tournament. Double elimination and the only exception to ASA rules is that each team we will start each game with 3hrs and can purchase as many extra hr per game as they want for $5 each. Every HR hit after your team total runs out is an automatic out. Games will have a 15run rule after 4innings and 10 run-rule in effect after the 5th inning and a one hour game time. Only .44 core balls permitted and ASA approved bats. Team Registration and Money is due in by Wednesday June 11th at 3pm.
