Smiths Station Babe Ruth: Concession Stand Duties

Start Up and Close Instructions
When starting up the concession stand please start the following first.

1) Nacho Cheese- Look in drink cooler for opened cheese first.
2) BBQ- Look in drink cooler for opened unthawed BBQ First.
3)Chili- Look in the drink cooler for opened chili first.
4) Hamburgers are in white freezer.
5) Hot Dogs are in white freezer.
6) Polish Sausage Dogs are in white freezer.

** Put at least 1 inch of water in bottom of large white slow cooker on front counterand turn on to 350*. Line the three separate containers for the slow cooker with tin foil. (This is for easy clean-up at the end of the night.)
DO NOT PUT FOOD DIRECTLY IN THESE CONTAINERS WITHOUT TIN FOIL
Fill the two outsidecompartments with chili and BBQ and fill the middle container with nacho cheese sauce. You will have to mix a little less than half a cup of water to the cheese sauce so that it will not get to thick and burn.

**Put water in top of silver hot dog warmer and turn light switch only. (on the front at bottom right). There are two pieces that go in the top of this container. One is flat almost square silver piece with holes in it in order for the steam to rise, place this in top with the turned edges facing down. The second piece is a wire basket, this goeson top of the other piece to place the food in it.
Plug in the George Foreman Grill and start by cooking 3 hamburgers, four hot dogs, and three sausage dogs. Once they are cooked place each in the appropriate buns and individualy wrap with tin foil sheets and place in top of hot dog steamer to keep warm. Hot dogs and hamburgers sell the most so you will need to cook more of these. Only put sliced cheese on the cheeseburgers when they are ordered.

Price list is on the front wall next to the window.
Use the pickle bags when you sell a pickle.

Roasted peanuts are in the clear rubbermaid container (white bags are also inside this container) on the top shelf over the white slow cooker. Only fill bags half full.

Food is to be cooked as needed through the last out of the fourth inning of the last game. Clean up begins in the 5th inning of the last game, please have someone in the press box make an announcement "ALL COOKED FOOD IS HALF PRICE" Restock drinks in cooler. Wash all utensils. Empty any left over cheese, chili and BBQ into plastic containers with lids and put them in the drink cooler! All candy goes in the drink cooler. Make sure boxed hot dogs and hamburgers are stored in the freezer. Wipe down all counters, microwave, slow cooker, and warmer and make sure the water gets emptied out of the base of the slow cooker and the steamer. Sweep floors and empty garbage. Concession stand workers for taking the garbage to the garbage bins in the parking lot behind the visitors side. Please replace trash can liners after trash is emptied.
** Unplug all warmers and coffee pot



Concession Stand and Team Duties
Duties Include:

1. Minimum of 2 adults in the concession stand starting 30 minutes prior to start of first game and ending at the final out of the last game.
2. Concession clean-up and restocking coolers.
3. Pick up trash, empty trash cans and put liners back into trash cans to include dugout.
4. Do 50/50 drawing during the 2nd inning of each game.
5. Weedeat and cut grass on and around field if needed.

Game Team Duties

* Home Team for first game will line off the field.
* Visiting Team for 1st game will remove covers and rake where needed.
* Home Team for last game will drag infield.
* Visiting Team for last game will rake plate area and mound area and cover both.
* Home Team for each game will supply a scorebook keeper if needed.
* Visiting Team for each game will supply an announcer and scoreboard operator if needed.
