Cross Country Banquet is Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008 at 5 pm in the SM East Cafeteria!

Please plan ahead for your arrival at the XC Banquet this Sunday, Nov. 2 ... festivities begin at 5:00pm.

To be closest and most convenient to the cafeteria entrance:

PARK in the junior lot, entering from 75th Street and parking in the north portion of the lot.

ENTER THE BUILDING through the north side doors which are conveniently reached from the junior lot by a walkway which you see to the left of the recycling bin. Through these doors continue straight down the hall and take a left at the fun art mural.  Just a few more steps and you will enter the cafeteria to your right.

AN ALTERNATIVE BUILDING ENTRANCE OR IF YOU HAVE MOBILITY IMPAIRMENTS -- Use the door next to the receiving area adjacent to the junior lot.  Take the stairs up one floor and go through the interior doors straight down the hall and enter the cafeteria to your right. OR TO AVOID STAIRS an elevator is right inside the entrance doors to take you to the upper floor.

Building doors will be open at 4:30pm. Although the main entrance doors should also be open, we do not expect other building entrances to be accessible.

 This week we will travel to the Class 6A Regional Cross Country Meet at Olathe Lake on Saturday. All athletes participating in the Regional Meet will ride the bus, leaving from school at noon.  Race times are as follows:

2:30 Varsity Girls

3:30 Varsity Boys  

Location of Meet:  Olathe Gold Course/Olathe Lake.  Directions: From the intersection of Santa Fe and K-7 hwy.  Go West on Santa Fe to Ward Cliff Drive. Just south of the Eagle lodge on your left  Take a Left on Ward Cliff Drive and stay to your left.  The entrance to the old golf course will be on your left.  Only buses are allowed in the parking lot but there is ample parking along the lake road which follows much of the course.
