Welcome to the website for Shawnee Mission East High School Cross Country. Shawnee Mission East High School is located in Prairie Village, Kansas and boasts over 160 runners making it the school's leading participant sport. "It's great to be a Lancer!" We say it's even better if you're a Lancer Cross Country runner! The team is lead by Head Coach Tricia Beaham and Assistant Coaches Michael Chaffee, David Pennington, Bill Boley and Brie Meschke. Thursday, October 2 This week's meet This week we will travel to Raymore-Peculiar Missouri for the KC Metro Cross Country Championship Meet. All athletes will ride the bus, leaving from school at 7:00 am. Race times are as follows: 9:30 Varsity Girls (top 7 runners) 10:00 Varsity Boys (top 7 runners) 10:30 JV & C Team Girls 11:00 JV & C Team Boys Directions to the meet can be found in the maps & directions handout in this website. Thursday, October 2 Hooray Carbo Loads!!!! This week's carbo load will be hosted by Brandon Royle and Mike Sullivan at the Sullivan's house at 8719 Cherokee Lane at 5:30 pm. Please bring the following: Freshman - Fruit/Salad; Sophomores - Bread; Juniors - Dessert and Seniors - Your appetite!
