SEAVIEW LITTLE LEAGUE SELECTED TO HOST POST SEASON TOURNEYS

| League Board of Directors helped secure two post season tournaments

 |
Two post season tournaments will be played at LeBard Field starting in mid June as Seaview Little League was chosen to host the Tournament of Champions and All Star tourneys.
Area first place teams from the Major, Minor A and Minor B divisions will compete on the diamonds at LeBard Field beginning June 12. Second place finishers will hold their tournament in Fountain Valley.
As for the District 62 All Star tournament, it also will be held at the Seaview Little League complex and is tentatively scheduled to begin July 1. Both the 9/10 All Stars (Minor Division) and the 11/12 (Major Division) are expected to bring large crowds to LeBard Field, with the tourney winners advancing to the regionals.
"This is a great honor for our league," said Coach Greg. "It will bring in some additional revenue, give our teams a decided home field advantage and give all of the players in Seaview Little League the opportunity to see some of the best Little League baseball in this area. It's really exciting and I'm certain the league will be needing a plenty of volunteers to help make it a success."
The two tournaments will add an additional month to the season for the field crews at Seaview Little League. Congratulations are in order to the SVLL Board of Directors who campaigned for the post season tournaments.
