Swap Meet Now Available

SLYAA is happy to open up a new page on the web site so that users can swap equipment.  Some basic guidelines for the site are as follows:

1.  This is not a For Sale site.  The purpose of this site is to provide our users with a method to repurpose no longer needed equipment by offering it at no charge to other members of our community.

2.  Please list only equipment that is in "playable" order.

3.  If you desire to list an item, please provide the following information in an email to jdvierkant@purefishing.com :  Item Description; Item Size (if applicable); Contact Information; Photo if desired; and any other brief information you would like included in the posting.

4.  We ask that you notify us via email at jdvierkant@purefishing.com if you successfully swap your item or if you wish to have your listing removed.

We hope our player and parent community find this section of our website useful to give that gently used equipment a chance to play another season.

Batting Cage is Open !

We are pleased to announce that the batting cages are up and the Show Arena at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds is now open for hitting and throwing practice.

Below are the procedures to gain access to the Arena:

1.  Go to the Expo office during business hours and ask for a key to the arena

2.  You will need to pay a deposit for the key

3.  After the season, bring the key back to the office and get your deposit back.

Please help us by following these simple rules for Arena use

1.  The heat will be on all winter, so no need to come in early to turn it on!

 2.  When you leave the arena, please leave it as you found it or better.  Pick up any equipment, rake the batter's box, pick up balls, unplug the pitching machine, etc.)

3.  Please make sure to leave the restoom doors OPEN so that they stay heated.

4.  Please turn off all the lights

5.  Please lock the doors.
