Little League Baseball Team

"The best fed team in baseball"

We are the Champions!

By virtue of a 13-3 record in the regular season, Almsted's captured 1st Place in the

SLP Little League Majors Division for 2009.

Congratulations Almsted's Players and Coaches for a fantastic season!

Beginning Tuesday June, 23 at 8PM Almsted's will participate in "The Classic" Tournament hosted by Coon Rapids National Little League. See the link below for the schedule.

1st game: Tuesday June, 23 8PM vs. Brooklyn Center National on field 2.

Picture Day

For those who missed picture day, Great Photo, says call them 763-544-5444, and they will set up a time for an individual picture..

The address is :  681 Winnetka Avenue North Golden Valley, MN 55427

Also, for $19.00, if we have at least six players interested, they will come to Skippy Field, and take an action shot of the player, these shots would be complied on a sports banner.  Or, since we only had 7 players available for the team photo, they are willing to take a team photo for the sports banner.  Both options would be done during a scheduled game time, no extra scheduling!

PLAYERS: Please arrive at the field 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for each game.

Good bye and good luck Jesse!

Did he save his best for last? He did if you consider 5 & 2/3 innings of shutout ball with 16 strikeouts to be a dominant performance.

Almsted's will miss you and your perfect pitching mechanics, cool as ice fielding, clutch hitting, and most of all your smile on and off the mound.

We will also miss your wonderful family. Thank you, Ken and Mary
